    Pros +

    • The rooms are clean, modern and with well designed Turkish details. The grounds and views are lovely. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Some staff speak more English than others, everyone was eager to please. We had a wonderful stay!
    • Great location, fantastic design and atmosphere, very friendly staff
    • Room was small but comfortable with most amenities provided. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Meals at the restaurant were good

    Cons -

    • The helpfulness of the staff could be a little bit needy, not quite striking the perfect balance between friendliness and unobtrusiveness. However, it was overall the best service of our time in Turkey so far.
    • There was no kettle or tea/coffee making facility in the room. Parking was not “on site” as advertised, we had to find a spot in the narrow streets around the hotel
    • We visited in off-season so we had the place to ourselves, might be a different experience during tourist season.

    The hotel itself is beautiful.

We had the most expensive dinner we have had in Turkey at this hotel. The next day, 3 of us got really sick. We were sick for about 36 hours. Others staying there told us they were sick too. When my husband mentioned this to the staff they said many people were sick and it was probably the heat. Trust me, the vomiting and diarrhea had nothing to do with the heat. Other: they set us up with a guide to Ephesus, named Dervish, who was on his phone half of the tour and tried to get us to buy souvenirs from his buddies. He talked super fast and repeated himself with the same jokes. He has done this so many times he seemed not present. He charged $180 for this. We got taken in. The staff at the hotel were lovely except for the guy who tried three times to get us to see his carpets. I wish we hadn’t been pushed to much in terms of the carpet, the tour guide, and the souvenirs.

The hotel is located near the bus station. In fact, the way to the hotel from the bus station is closer than Google Maps shows because, if you are walking, you can cross a square. There are some restaurants nearby and the hotel restaurant is good and has an wonderful view.

The internet was slow and very instable. Usually internet in Turkey is not that good but here it was the worst of my travel. This was bad because I needed internet to plan my trip. As a lot of hotels in Turkey the bed sheet was rough. Also the window curtain didn't block the light and the room was bright.

Pretty hotel with a very comfortable room and a lovely small pool and deck area with terrific views to nearby mountains. . Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to all sights, easy few minutes drive to Ephesus. We enjoyed generous breakfasts and a delicious meal in their restaurant one night.

    All good

The hotel is in a beautiful historic part of town. Very near the shops, the museum and the Basilica of St.John. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Most of them speak good English. The teenage waiter Rojhat was so helpful and kind to us and showed us around the town also. It felt very luxurious in a low key way. We used the pool a lot!

There is a shop in the basement but it's good to know that it's OK to not visit it and not to feel awkward if you don't have the budget for the beautiful but costly rugs there.

Amazing, beautiful hotel in a fabulous location! Walkable to many sites. Delicious sunset dinners and an excellent pool were bonuses. And the staff were so kind! Highly recommend!

    10TaraPosted on: 7-6-2024

Gorgeous hotel and very friendly staff! So close to good restaurants in town and the Ephesus Museum, and a quick, easy drive to the Ephesus ruins. This was a welcome stay after the chaos of Istanbul.

Super friendly and helpful staff, well located and delicious food

Nothing- it was perfect for our stay in Selcuk

    10JuliePosted on: 5-19-2024

Exceptionally attentive and friendly staff. Quaint building , tucked in an elevated position in older side of Selcuk overlooking the Temple of Artemis and the valley in which one visits Ephesus . Five minutes walk from Selcuk train station and Saturday markets. We showed our interest in visiting the hippodrome at the ancient site of Magnesia and the manager was kind enough to organise a private vehicle so we could visit. Unbelievable place to visit! The dining was the best we had in Turkey . Cannot beat the breakfasts. Delicious and healthy.

    Everything was terrific.
